NYU Stern Executive MBA Program
NYU Stern School of Business wanted to create a marketing campaign to attract new students to the program. They enlisted Kismet Films to produce a video series that would showcase the program. Their demographic includes business professionals with advanced degrees across all genres; finance, medical, not-for-profit. Our goal was to create a sleek, contemporary, and entirely original video that would appeal to a diverse audience, while highlighting the school’s focus on return on investment. Through stunning images and beautiful graphics, and an emphasis on story, we produced a corporate video that redefines the conventional marketing tool for a 21st century audience.
When Pfizer turned itself upside down and launched a totally restructured business model they called Kismet Films to create an engaging, informative, and creative series of videos to share the news with Pfizer colleagues around the globe. A move this big and was pretty gutsy and at times complicated. Shot in NYC, Madrid, and Montreal, we produced a project that engaged colleagues in this new Business Unit plan for the company in a way that felt very entrepreneurial – even for such a huge company. Promoting a sense of company pride and personal ownership in this new business structure was the key to developing a stylistic video series with a clear message that Pfizer colleagues would watch. The series was so successful that Pfizer has contracted us for at least a 1/2 dozen other videos and considers us their go-to producers.
Frito-Lay’s Stacy’s Pita Chip Co.
This start-up snack-food was ready to make it big so they turned to Kismet Films to produce a video with “home-made” sensibility and big-brand appeal. We knew that story was everything with this piece so we developed a series of videos that perfectly defined the culture of the company, the quality of the product, and the value of the brand. We focused on their journey from humble roots to mass market. The videos were so successful in presenting their image, and exciting potential buyers about the brand that Frito-Lay took notice and bought the company. Frito loves the product but were so engaged by the story and marketability that they immediately made an offer and bought the brand and its story. The brilliant marketing minds at Frito know a good thing when they see it and continue to call on us for all sorts of internal videos for Stacy’s and for the Frito-Lay Company as well.
Wella Professionals Hair Care and Styling Products
Before there was corporate web video, before there was Project Runway, before there was American Idol, there was Wella. They had an exciting idea that brought teams of young hairstylists and models together in NYC from all over the country to compete in a live style and modeling competition. They needed an innovative and creative company to bring the idea to the world via the web so they called Kismet. Our mission was difficult: spend 5 days in NYC with some of the most beautiful and creative young women in the country. We documented their City adventures, and every bit of the drama of competition, culminating in a fashion show like none other.
